A twenty minute documentary on the life and opportunities of Aboriginal primary school students in Moree East, NSW. Connected Communities was a NSW Department of Education initiative that allowed students to connect better with their communities. It highlighted new infrastructure programs transforming learning and opportunities for all the students. The documentary interviews a wide range of subjects, including teachers, principals, students, construction workers and department representatives. It shows how a school was transformed, and how this can transform a community. This was the first government-funded documentary to be broadcast as a special on free-to-air TV.
